10 Foot Draw

close up

As the prompt for "Ten  Foot Draw" was "make your mark" I realized that a way to create visual/literal impression upon the viewer  is to use paint to make textures and tones. I accredit a lot of who I am to, the places I have been and the visual textures and colors of these places affect me. I chose to string up 2 inch squares across a wall and around a corner to show the continuity of time, yet the way that memory sometimes conceals certain aspects of memory. The squares resembled paint swatches and quilt patches, both lend to the idea of visual representation of memory.
